My name is Wojciech Kumik. The history of Home Made Sauna began in mid 2020, when my parents have asked me to design an outdoor sauna for them. As an architect who is passionate about small scale projects, I took up on this challenge. Few months later, our first sauna design was ready - Sauna Tuula. In April 2021, together with my father, we have began the construction process. The design and build gave me a great sense of accomplishment. When I shared the photos and the project with online sauna communities, Sauna Tuula was a great hit. People loved the aesthetics attention to detail and the care we've put in designing it. This is how an idea came about, to help people build their saunas by creating sauna plans. Sharing the knowledge, experience, and love for saunas is what it's all about.
